Syntax and Time : Katherine Mansfield Gives Lessons in The Present Tense

In this talk, incorporating short readings from her own and Mansfield's work, Kirsty Gunn will explore Mansfield's innovative use of time in her prose writing that, in turn, causes a new kind of reading, transforming the way we now think about the use of tense and situatedness in contemporary fiction.
